Nevertheless, there're actually many things you can do and see in the North! So, for those of you who have just clinched a job in the North and don't know what's good 'round the hood, we got yo back!

Here's one place that you can have fun for free! This park consists of a 1.5km long waterfront promenade, a 9 hectare park and a refurbished jetty. The park also has restaurants, fitness areas, venue for holding events, playgrounds and also, running and cycling tracks.

1. Charging port at Ang Mo Kio Station
No portable charger? Give your phone a boost at the free charging ports available at AMK station. You'll have to bring your own plug and charging cable though!
2. Sembawang Shopping Centre Shuttle Service
